The Interior Health Authority has rescinded their gym closure order effective on 19 May 2020. This is partially good news for us!
A thorough read of the requirements for opening, and consultation with health professionals and our lawyer, indicates that there is no way that we can safely restart Jiu-Jitsu classes. With the 2m requirement it is simply impossible to do so without putting our students at risk. So, until such times as the IHA indicates otherwise, Jiu-Jitsu is still on hold.
What we do plan to do is to restart our kickboxing/boxing classes following the IHA protocols and our personal training classes. We are developing curriculum that will allow for safe training while following IHA protocols. You will notice social distancing and hygeine/sanitization protocols when you enter the club, during and after class…you MUST follow them.
We will update you further via email. So…if you have not yet completed the communication form at the link below…then you won’t receive information on this opportunity to get back on the mats! Git’r done and fill it out! https://forms.gle/bNe2vrLwkKxL2eHY6
Thanks to all for their patience during this time. See you on the mats…soon!
